The neighbourhood shop, made digital.
AL-RAI has stood on the corner of Orio since 2005 — crates of stone fruit on the pavement, the Basque flag above the door, regulars who know us by name. The shop you walk into is the shop you order from. Nothing more, nothing different.
What you'll find in the shop.
- 01Fresh fruit and vegDaily · from local growers
Vine-ripened tomatoes from Orio, lettuce from local plots, stone fruit in season, citrus from Valencia in winter.
🍅🥬🍑🍊 - 02DairyGipuzkoa · cooperative
Milk from Kaiku, yoghurts from local farmhouses, Idiazabal cheese with D.O. — we don't carry brands we wouldn't put on our own table.
🥛🧀🍦 - 03BakeryAginaga oven · twice a day
Village loaf at 07:00 and again at 17:00. Croissants and pastries on weekends. Bread sold the day it's baked or marked down at 19:30.
🥖🥐🍰 - 04PantryConservas, oil, basics
Olive oil from Jaén, sardines and bonito from the coast, pasta, rice, legumes. The boring shelves that quietly make dinner happen.
🫙🫒🍝 - 05Household & cleaningRefills & detergents
Detergent, soap, sponges. We keep the small things you forget you need — and we'll add them to your basket if you ask.
🧼🧴🧽 - 06Pet foodDry & wet · Orio & nearby
A small but solid pet aisle. Two brands of dry food, wet food in tins, treats. If we don't carry your dog's brand, we can usually order it for Tuesday.
